Born in London ON in 1969, Cormier first picked up a guitar at the ripe old age of five. Chet Atkins was an early influence, and Cormier has since gone on to carve out a pretty good career for himself as a bluegrass/folk musician.

Thursday he’s in town to play a show at the Exchange that’s being presented by Grassroots Regina. Doors are at 8 p.m., and tickets areĀ $20 advance and $25 door. The support act is the Regina roots band Binder Twine & the Balers. While Cormier is in Regina he’ll be participating in a SIGMA guitar clinic at Sawchyn Guitars on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. More info on the clinic can be found here.
