Based in Prince Edward Island, Catherine MacLellan is the daughter of Canadian musician Gene MacLellan who scored several hits as a writer/performer in the 1970s including “Snowbird” and “Put Your Hand In the Hand”. MacLellan is still building her career, but she’s already garnered some acclaim in Maritimes and has been nominated for several East Coast Music Awards in the roots/folk category.

Dark Dream Midnight and Church Bell Blues  are two of her albums, and Wednesday she’s in town to play a gig at Creative City Centre (1843 Hamilton St.).
