Sad About You
Although enough time has passed since we went our separate ways and I’ve mourned, learned and grown from the mistakes that were made while we were together, I still consider you one of the most important people in my entire life. You’ve taught me so much over the decade we’ve known one another and I would be lying if I said there isn’t a tiny piece of you in every single one of my days. But while I must lament your recent departing from your significant other, I refuse to selfishly jump at the chance to be yours again. Rather, I’m writing this because I think you are one of the most remarkable people I’ve ever met, living and breathing exuberance and kindness. Your entire being is contagious and my heart aches for you.
She does not know the mistake she is making, because you are perfect and you deserve to be loved and worshipped as the miraculous creature that you are. I hope with time you will see the light at the end of the tunnel as I did. I love you endlessly. /Anonymous
