I’m not sure how many years the Regina Jazz Society has been hosting this concert, but I think it’s fair to say that it qualifies as a holiday tradition now. With all sorts of jazz musicians who were born and raised in Regina back for the holidays it offers a great opportunity to see some well-honed chops in action.
The concert, which is formally billed Sam Minevich & Friends, goes tonight at the RJS’s usual venue LeBisto (3850 Hillsdale St.) at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for RJS members and $25 for non-members.
