Based in Winnipeg, these noise rockers fronted by Shane and Jesse Matthewson (with Andrew LaCour on bass) have been churning out tunes since 1999. In March they released their fifth full-length Entrench. It ended up being long-listed for the 2013 Polaris Prize, and tonight KEN Mode are in town to play a show at O’Hanlon’s Pub.
