As if visitors to Regina for Grey Cup didn’t have enough to ponder already re: the city’s notoriously suggestive name, when I was out for a walk in Victoria Park this afternoon I noticed that two giant beavers (click to enlarge) had been installed at the entrance to the downtown family fun party zone.
With NW winds forecast to gust to 63 k.p.h. tonight as the temperature drops to the minus 16 range, hopefully all the tents and fences that have been erected on City Square Plaza and F.W. Hill Mall in preparation for Grey Cup are well secured otherwise things could get ugly.
