If you’re superstitious, you might be planning to lay low on Friday to avoid the curse of Friday the 13th. But if you’re a fan of live music you’ll want to head down to the German Club for the Harvest Dance. It’s modeled after old-time harvest type gatherings of yore with the crowning of a Harvest King and Queen, a pie baking contest and shuffleboard tournament.

Also part of the mix are performances by three local bands: Snake River, Black Drink Crier and the Wildmen. Tickets are $12 advance and $15 at the door, and things should get going around 7 p.m.
