I bogarted this Vancouver-born, Montreal-based indie rock band’s latest album Ultramarine when it came into the office in April, and I still have it in regular rotation on my stereo at home.
The album ended up being long-listed for the 2013 Polaris Prize, and tonight Young Galaxy, which includes Stephen Ramsay (vocals/guitar), Catherine McCandless (vocals/keyboards), Stephen Kamp (bass/vocals), Matthew Shapiro (keys/guitar), and Andrea Silver (drums), are in town to play a show at the Exchange.
