This show featuring Ontario-born, Winnipeg-based singer-songwriter Jenny Berkel was originally supposed to happen in late July but it got postponed until Wednesday night. Joining Berkel for the concert at Creative City Centre in beautiful downtown Regina (doors 7:30 p.m., tickets $10) will be country/jazz chanteuse Belle Plaine and Robyn Koester.
Berkel is touring in support of her debut full-length album Here On A Wire. To give you a sense of what Berkel’s sound is like here’s video of her performing a song called “Spilling Sand” at an outdoor festival last summer:
