I’m doing this post as a service to the legion of Ryan Gosling fans out there. Sept. 12-15 his 2013 movie Only God Forgives is screening at the RPL Theatre. It’s a France/Thailand/USA/Sweden co-pro, and sees Gosling star as a fugitive from justice named Julian who runs a boxing club as a front for a drug operation in Bangkok who gets tasked by his mother with avenging the murder of her favourite son Billy.
Only God Forgives screens at the RPL Thursday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Friday and Sunday at 9 p.m. Here’s the trailer:
