Tomorrow the Regina Symphony Orchestra kicks off its 105th season with this popular free outdoor concert in the meadow behind the Royal Saskatchewan Museum in Wascana Centre. As in past years, the day will culminate with a performance by the RSO. But four other acts will also be taking the stage at the event which runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The four acts were selected though fan voting in a Facebook contest, and after several rounds of voting Alex Runions, Keiffer Mclean, Vudu Hounds and Sylvia Chave were the ones left standing.

In addition to the performances there will also be a beer garden, food vendors, a children’s area and a “musical petting zoo” where I presume people will be able to see different symphony instruments up close.
