Founded in Miami in 1989, The Mavericks have done a far bit of genre hopping in the 15 plus years they’ve been active as a band (excluding a hiatus from 2004-11). “Tex Mex” and “Neo-Country” are two labels that have been attached to their sound. After reforming in 2011 the band has toured widely, and in February they released a new album called In Time. Tonight they’re in town to play a show at Casino Regina Lounge (8 p.m. $40, $45).
