Subtitled The Second Coming this is a sequel to the hit 1985 off-Broadway musical-comedy that Dan Goggan penned about five nuns who organize a variety show to raise money to bury the other members of their order after they are accidentally poisoned by vichyssoise prepared by Sister Julia, Child Of God.
The sequel takes place six weeks later, with the nuns deciding to put on a second show to thank the benefactors who made the first show a success.
July 11-14 Regina Summer Stage will be presenting Nunsense II at the Performing Arts Centre. Shows July 11-13 are at 7:30 p.m., while July 14 there’s a matinee at 2 p.m. Tickets are Adults $27.50, Students $25 and can be obtained by calling 306-779-2277.
