Two of the original members of this Seattle grunge rock band (singer Layne Staley and bassist Mike Starr) are no longer with us. But founding members guitarist/songwriter Jerry Cantrell and drummer Sean Kinney, along with long-time bassist Mike Inez (who joined the group when Starr departed in 1993) are still rocking out.
This spring, in fact, Alice In Chains released a new album called The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here. And Saturday July 6 they’re in town to play a show at Brandt Centre on a bill with Chevelle and Monster Truck (7 p.m., tickets $39.50, $59.50).
