If you’re looking for something to do tonight here’s some options. At the Exchange there’s a dance party called The After Life that’s hosted by Scribble Noise and features DJ Woo, Skuzz Sound and other DJs along with an appearance by the Regina burlesque troupe Seven Deadly Sins. Next door at the SCES Club, meanwhile, you can ring in the new year by singing karaoke.
At O’Hanlon’s Pub a couple of local rock/blues/funk bands will be taking the stage: Indigo Joseph and Fur Eel. At the Artful Dodger there’s an event called Dragging In The New Year that’s billed as having a 1970s and ‘80s formal wear theme. And if you feel like doing some salsa dancing iCubaneate Dance is hosting a party at 2837 Saskatchewan Drive. Doors are at 9 p.m., tickets are $25, and that includes tapas at 10 p.m.
Finally, Gord Bamford and Alex Runions are playing a show at Casino Regina Lounge (8 p.m. $55, $60.). The local band Slow Motion Walter is at McNally’s Tavern. Marc Labossiere is headlining at the Pump Roadhouse. Chris Henderson is at the Whiskey Saloon. And a Guns n’ Roses tribute band called Night Train is at the Gaslight Saloon.
