My current Canadian band crush is Modern Superstitions, a Toronto group that plays high-energy, sorta new-wavy blues pop rock. The band released their eponymous debut full-length earlier this fall then promptly vanished, save for a few Toronto shows. WHICH IS NOT THE WAY TO DO IT, PEOPLE. Indignant, surly harrumphs!

I really hope Modern Superstitions tours the hell out of 2013 because this Toronto-only stuff is nonsense. Plus I wanna see them and I’m not heading to T.O. anytime soon. Yes, it IS all about me. If everybody could get on this, that would be great.
