Regular readers of Dog Blog will recall some posts that prairie dog contributor Danny Kresnyak made earlier this year when he was in Ghana as a journalist working to advance the cause of human rights. When he returned from Ghana he even did a cover story for us where he recounted some of his experiences in that African country.

Thursday (Nov. 8) at the Lancaster Taphouse (4529 Gordon Road) Kresnyak will be presenting a display of photographs from the time he spent in Ghana. The event, which is being co-hosted by Journalists for Human Rights and the University of Regina School of Journalism, will also include a book launch, a charity auction and a performance by the Regina band Indigo Joseph.

The photos, I was told by Danny, will be up all day, while the band should take the stage at 10 p.m.
