It’s another “no pick of the day” day. Instead, I’ll give you a heads up about a film that’s coming to the RPL Theatre for a four-night run Nov. 22 and 24 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 23 and 25 at 9 p.m. It’s a documentary by Canadian actor/director Sarah Polley that explores a family history that turned out to be a little more complicated than she initially imagined it would be.

Tonight veteran Acadian musician Julie Doiron is playing a show at the Artful Dodger (8 p.m. start, tickets $10 adv. and $15 door). Doiron first made her mark as a member of the East Coast grunge group Eric’s Trip in the early 1990s. In addition to her own solo career, Doiron is also a dedicated photographer.
