There’s a pile of art and craft shows that happen in Regina in the run-up to Christmas now, but Wintergreen is the granddaddy of them all. It’s administered by the Saskatchewan Craft Council, and it’s been going on for 37 years now. It’s a juried show, so that ensures that all the vendors who take part are solid practitioners who use quality materials and expert technical skills in their different disciplines: jewelery-making, ceramics, furniture, photography, glassware and more.
Wintergreen runs today through Sunday at Conexus Arts Centre. Show hours are 1-9 p.m. today, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday. In addition to the vendor tables, there will also be musical entertainment and carolling. Admission is Adults $5, Seniors & Youth $3, Kids 12 and under free.
