Short of an actual symphony orchestra, you might suspect any band that uses the word “orchestra” in their name of being guilty of hyperbole. But this group, which hails from Cape Breton, comes pretty close to qualifying as an orchestra, both in terms of the number of members they have and the range of instruments they play.

Sunday night they’re in town to play a show at the Artful Dodger (doors at 7:30 p.m.). Opening act is The Strumbellas. To give you a taste of what the Tom Fun Orchestra have to offer here’s the video from a few years ago for their song “Bottom of the River”:
