Should be a great night of music at Conexus Arts Centre with this special performance presented by the Regina Symphony Orchestra. Guest artists are the Baroque period ensemble Tafelmusik from Toronto.
To commemorate Italian astronomer Galileo’s invention of the telescope in the 17th century they’ll be performing works by composers of that era like Monteverdi, Vivaldi, Bach and Handel against a backdrop of high-definition images from the Hubble Telescope. The show gets going at 7:30 p.m. For ticket info call 596-9555.
