This is a reboot of Regina Folk Festival Concert Series show that got cancelled last spring because Kathleen Edwards was suffering from fatigue and vocal strain. That wasn’t the only medical mishap to befall Edwards this year, either. In September she suffered an allergic reaction after being stung by a wasp during a show in Windsor. But she’s recovered now, and will be in Regina for two shows at the Exchange tonight and Wednesday night. The latter show is sold-out, but as of Saturday tickets were still available for tonight’s gig.
Backing Edwards up will be Halifax-based singer-songwriter Jenn Grant. Doors both nights are at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are $20 adv. and $25 door.
