On Oct. 18 the Regina & District Chamber of Commerce is holding its annual Business 2 Business Expo at Conexus Arts Centre. In addition to the day-long trade show, there’s a breakfast (7:30 a.m. registration) that will feature a mayoralty debate. Then at 11:30 a.m. there’s a luncheon that will feature as guest-speaker former Toronto Maple Leaf great Darryl Sittler.
Elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1989, Sittler played 15 seasons in the NHL between 1970-85, finishing with 513 goals and 682 assists in 1096 regular season and 76 playoff games. He never won a Stanley Cup, but on Feb. 7, 1976 he did score ten points (six goals and four assists) against the Boston Bruins in an 11-4 Leaf victory at Maple Leaf Gardens.
