A friend and I were driving along Victoria Avenue the other day when the Pump’s marquee caused a little confusion in the car. Here’s some quick information so you won’t suffer the same fate.
Everest is the band that opened for Neil Young and Death Cab for Cutie back in 2008.
Everclear had that song about divorce and “Father of Mine”. Their singer has rocked bleached-blond hair a lot over the years and they released a brutal covers album where they murder “American Girl”.
Everlast used to be in House of Pain, the rap group behind “Jump Around”. Then, he went solo and rootsy, collaborating with Santana a couple of times. Apparently, he’s playing the Pump on September 22, which I had no clue about until last night. The Pump’s website confirms it.
There. I think we’re all caught up now.
