On Saturday, Regina’s Indo-Canadian community will be hosting a day-long event at Conexus Arts Centre to mark the 65th anniversary of India declaring its independence from Britain. Between noon and 5 p.m. there will be a host of free family events, then at 6:30 p.m. there will be show celebrating the Indian entertainment equivalent of Hollywood: Bollywood. Tickets for the show are $25 and can be obtained by calling the centre box office at 525-9999.
