This is the third year that the Dunlop Art Gallery has organized this competition in which people recreate famous art works in the form of living tableaux. Last year, there was a special category related to the books of Dr. Seuss. This year, there’s a category tied to the surreal and stylish films of Hollywood director Tim Burton.

Over $1000 in prizes are at stake, and the tableaux will be on display in Victoria Park from 4:30-6 p.m. So if you happen to be in the area, stop by. In addition to viewing the entries, you’ll also be able to vote on your favourite in the Viewer’s Choice category.
