Westshore Falls (pictured at left) describe themselves on their Facebook Page as “southern-influenced melodic hardcore”. They hail from Vernon, B.C. and I believe they are playing a show tonight at the SCES Club. At least, the gig was listed in the SCES’s ad in our July 12 issue, although when I checked the venue’s website on July 22 there was no mention of it. Other bands on the bill should include Palms to the Sky, A Ghost in Drag and Holic.
Also playing tonight at O’Hanlon’s Pub is the Hamilton-based folk/rocker Wax Mannequin. He’ll be backed up by Regina’s own Tiny. To give you a taste of the former, here’s the video for “Something to Hide” off the 2010 album Saxon:
