Featured this year are 18 local, national and international theatre acts at five venues (four located in the Cathedral District, along with the MacKenzie Art Gallery on south Albert).
The festival kicks off with an opening ceremony at Artesian on 13th at Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. and runs July 4-8. For more information on the performers and the schedule visit the RIFF website. Note also that there’s a free Kids’ Fringe at the Royal Sask Museum on July 7 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., along with a gala fundraiser that night at 9 p.m. at Artesian. Tickets for that are $20.
And if you find yourself unable to attend, you can see what you missed (or perhaps relive shows you did see) with a special Fringe Festival TV Series that will run on Access 7 July 16-20 at noon.
