With just under two weeks left in the Western Major Baseball League season the Regina Red Sox boast the best record in the league at 25W-8L. The Okotoks Dawgs and Medicine Hat Mavericks are elite teams too that, come playoff time, will definitely be in a position to give the Red Sox solid competition. The remaining eight teams in the eleven team loop, though, are not up to the same calibre as the Sox, Dawgs and Mavs.

The Weyburn Beavers are one of those teams. As of Sunday, they had a 13W-18L record. But they are 6-4 in their last ten games, so perhaps they are starting to gel as a team.

Tonight, the Red Sox host the Beavers at Currie Field at 7 p.m. Tickets are Adults $10, Students & Seniors $7, Children 13 and under $2. For more information call 721-0666.
