The usual party in Wascana Centre is happening today, culminating in the fireworks at dusk. Something new, though, is a downtown concert featuring performances by a host of Saskatchewan musicians including Megan Nash, The Extroverts, Segway Jousters, Johnny Hatch & Los Basterdos, Info Red and Merky Waters (of Local Onlyz) and Indigo Joseph.
Last I heard, plans called for the stage to be set up either on 18 block Scarth St. or on City Square plaza. Regardless, if you’re in the vicinity of Victoria Park between 2:30-10 p.m. you shouldn’t have too much trouble finding the stage.
