No p-o-t-d today. Instead, I’ll give you a heads up about the inaugural Saskatchewan Fashion Week which is set to run May 10-13 at City Square plaza.
A couple of months ago, I attended the press conference announcing the event. Showcased will be unique fashions by around 30 Saskatchewan designers and boutique retailers. There will be a mix of runway shows, after parties, a swag lounge where ticket purchasers will be able to check out various products and services, along with performances by local bands and opportunities to sample cuisine from some of Regina’s top restaurants. Trunk shows will also be held by the Regina Fashion Collective at Creative City Centre (1843 Hamilton St.) May 10-13 from noon to 4 p.m.
