Yesterday marked the first day of the outdoor Regina Farmers’ Market. The weather was tolerable, and while the vendors weren’t overflowing with fresh produce like they will be a few months from now, it was nice to some activity on the up-to-now mostly deserted City Square plaza.

Last night, the plaza was apparently again the site of some fervent activity. Unfortunately, it was of the criminal variety. You can read more about it in this CBC report.
