Here’s the latest Post Media report by Glen MacGregor and Stephen Maher on the growing Robocalls scandal. This concerns an affidavit filed by the Council of Canadians (scroll down to third news brief) as part of a legal action to have the results in seven ridings annulled because of improprieties in last May’s federal election.

The affidavit was sworn by a former employee of a call centre in Thunder Bay who alleges she was instructed to make live calls to voters in different ridings informing them about a change in the location of their pollling station. The Conservatives have responded by saying the woman’s sworn affadavit is false, and that the Council of Canadians’ litigation is “a transparent attempt to overturn certified election results simply because this activist group doesn’t like them.”
