This poetry slam and open mic goes every month at Creative City Centre (1843 Hamilton St.). With this installment coinciding with International Development Week, the evening is being co-hosted by Saskatchewan Council for International Cooperation, and the work being presented will have a global justice/development theme. Participating poets include Bernadette Wagner, Brad Bellegarde (InfoRed), Larry Kowalchuk, Tara Dawn Solheim, Adam Smith, Shayna Stock and Susana Dee. Doors are at 7 p.m., the slam goes from 7:30-9:30, then there’s an open mic until 10 p.m. Admission is $5 at the door.
