Pushed back a day because New Year’s Day fell on Sunday this year, and when it comes to football in the United States that’s the property of NFL Productions, the College Bowl season puts the hammer down with several big games featuring top ranked teams including the Rose, Fiesta, Ticket City, Capital One and Outback Bowls.
The big game, of course, goes next Monday night when #1 Louisiana Tigers meet the #2 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide in New Orleans in the BCS National Championship Game.
