The Rider nominees for the CFL Awards were announced today. Your pick for Best Roughrider in our recent Best of Regina poll, receiver Weston Dressler, is the team’s nominee in the Most Outstanding Player cateogory. Top Canadian is fellow receiver Chris Getzlaf. Along the line, Chris Best received the nod for Top O-Lineman, while Defensive Player of the year is Jerrell Freeman (pictured). Rounding out the list of nominees, rookie kicker Chris Milo is the Special Teams player of the year, while safety Craig Butler is Rookie of the Year.
