Ludwig who, you’re perhaps wondering.

Ode to Ludwig Wittgenstein, perhaps, the Austrian philosopher (1889-1951) who specialized in the study of meaning and language? Or Ode to Ludwig Erhard, who served as West German Chancellor from 1963-66?

No, this is being presented by the Regina Symphony Orchestra. So there’s only one Ludwig that the Ode could pertain to. Ludwig van Beethoven. In the field of classical music, he’s definitely one of the titans. And tomorrow night at Conexus Arts Centre at 8 p.m. the RSO is presenting two symphonies and an overture by the German genius.

If you’re looking for something to do tonight, Regina filmmaker Gerald Saul is presenting a program called Films from the Film Farm at the Sask Filmpool Co-op (301-1822 Scarth) at 8 p.m. The Film Farm was a retreat that Canadian filmmaker Philip Hoffman organized from 1994-2006 where participants would make experimental films. Tonight’s program includes shorts by Hoffman, Barbra Sternberg and Wayne Salazar. For more info call 757-8818.
