As a play, Romeo & Juliet has been performed innumerable times. There’s also been a fair number of TV and film adaptations. This is a ballet adaptation, so that makes it somewhat unique. It’s presented by the U.S.-based Moscow Ballet, and is inspired by an earlier ballet set to a score by Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev.

Romeo & Juliet is being performed at Conexus Arts Centre tonight and Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $55-$96.75.
