I don’t want to wear out this gimmick, but when I’m trolling through all the communiques prairie dog receives from the PMO, there’s just so many great photos that I hate not to share them with you. As I’ve noted before, they also offer a fascinating insight into modern-day politics, and how Stephen Harper’s handlers want to portray him to the country.

This photo was taken after Canada’s head honcho and his wife Laureen left the Commonwealth Summit in Perth and jetted up to the G-20 Summit in Cannes. It’s the twelfth instalment in the PMO Photo Op Caption Contest, it’s from a “working session” at the G-20, and it’s probably the one that makes me the saddest.
