Holy moly, there’s a whole shitload pile of live music in Regina tonight.
In addition to the Sumner Brothers at Creative City Centre, Drawn Ship (pictured) are playing at O’Hanlon’s Pub. They’re a two-piece out of Vancouver that Emmet previewed in our Sept. 8 issue. At the Exchange, CJTR is presenting another 10th Anniversary Showcase. Performing will be Birds Are Dinosaurs and Sun Zoom Sparx. At Brandt Centre, American country star Keith Urban is playing with The Band Perry (7:30 p.m. $83.50-$98.50). At the Districkt, meanwhile, there’s the Nate Dogg Tribute Tour with Warren G and DJ Fresh (9 p.m., $20). Six Cylinder Symphony is at Gaslight Saloon, while Dangerous Cheese are at McNally’s Tavern, and Electric Angel are at Pump Roadhouse.
Finally, Jennifer Warnes is at Casino Regina (8 p.m. $30, $35). To close, here’s video from awhile ago of Warnes’ performing “First We Take Manahattan” from the Leonard Cohen tribute album Famous Blue Raincoat.
