With all the small businesses destroyed and looted and people made homeless by the three days of rioting, what happened at the Sony warehouse in Ealing probably seems like small potatoes for now. But the destruction of many independent films, and the stock of several independent music labelswill create a lot of hardship to those industries, and therefore to Britain’s cultural industry.
