For some months now, The Sheepdogs out of Saskatoon have been in the running to be featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. Through the support of their fans in an Internet contest, they were able to make the cut down to the final two, which permitted them to play at the Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee in June along with fellow finalist Leila Broussard from Louisiana.
Now CBC is reporting that the band has been selected to be on the cover of the next issue of the magazine that hits the streets on Friday.
