Arguably the best thing about the Regina Folk Festival are the free workshops, which as of right now wrapped up for 2011. I caught a couple songs from Local Flavour 2: Rhymes With Fun featuring members of Rah Rah, Library Voices and Indigo Joseph. In this photo they’re singing a great cover of Talking Head’s “Psycho Killer””. A couple minutes before Library Voices played the song “Regina, I Don’t Want To Fight” off their upcoming CD, Summer Of Lust”, which is going to be one of my favourite songs of 2011 for obvious reasons.
What a fun time. Congrats, kudos and doggie-smooches to all the musicians and the Folks at the Festival for scheduling all this great free stuff. It’s been a great year. And there’s one more night! Woo!
