I made a new friend down by Wascana lake this morning. She was very nervous but eventually settled down into a state of limp noodledom. Have I ever mentioned how much I love urban wildlife? Deer, coyotes, hares, owls, crows, ground squirrels and sssnakes. I love ’em all. (Except wasps. Wasps are vicious mechanisms of calibrated hate.)
