Last year in our June 4 issue we did a cover story on the 75th anniversary of the On-to-Ottawa Trek and the Regina Riot in 1935. Here’s a link. Wednesday night, the Plains Historical Museum and Regina Public Library (Central Branch) are joining forces to present a two-part exploration of that key event in Canadian history.

At 6:30 p.m., there’ll be a walking tour of historic sites in downtown Regina. It will depart from the site of the old locomotive at Casino Regina, and will go rain or shine. That will be followed by a documentary film screening at the RPL Theatre at 8 p.m.
