At left is the cover for our June 16 issue, which features our annual First Nations Report along with a story on Saskatoon-based First Nations artist Adrian Stimson who has an exhibition on at Neutral Ground (1822 Scarth) related to a trip he made in 2010 to Afghanistan as part of the Canadian War Artist Program.

It’s a solid show, so check it out if you get a chance. And if you’re not busy tomorrow, be sure to swing by Wascana Centre for the annual National Aboriginal Day celebration. There’ll be all sorts of traditional First Nations and Metis dancers, drummers, singers and musicians, along with plenty of other stuff. For the kids, there’s also a puppet show sponsored by Albert Library called I am Raven at the Royal Sask Museum.

And if you happen to be busy downtown, there’ll be a second celebration on the F.W. Hill Mall from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
