As James Brotheridge observed in a post a couple of weeks ago, this Vancouver-based pop-punk band attracted a bit of notoriety recently when newly reappointed Canadian Heritage Minister James Moore took the band to task for its album Holy Shit.

Moore did more than that, of course. He also contacted the head of Factor, which is the funding agency that provides support to Canadian musicians to record CDs and produce videos, to express his outrage that the organization was fulfilling its mandate or something I guess.

Tonight at the Club at 7 p.m., Living With Lions is playing with Prom Night In Black and White, Inside Riot, The Hunters and A Perfect Punchline. Tickets are $10 adv., $12 door.

To close, here’s a mega eight-minute long video opus from the band for its 2010 song “Later is Better”.
