I don’t have a ton of info on this dance performance by Johanna Bundon (pictured) and Bee Pallomina that’s being held tonight at Artesian on 13th (doors 7:30 p.m., show at 8 p.m.)
Bundon’s done a fair bit of work at the Globe Theatre lately in its Sandbox Series. Scribe & Gretel (2007), A Thirst Undone (2009) and WhyRobotsMakeBetterLovers (2010) are three of her productions. In all three, Pallomina was a collaborator.
On the invite card for this duet there’s a close-up shot of a woman dressed in what could best be described as sensible shoes standing on a wooden chair. And when I checked Artesian’s website, I found this description: An evening of (interplanetary) dance and likely and unlikely surprises. Johanna might do a stand-up act!
That’s pretty much all I got. Tickets are $15 adult and $10 for students, seniors and artists. They can be picked up in advance at Mysteria Gallery which is located kitty corner from the Artesian.
