I’m not sure what the exact plan is, but as Japan struggles to cope with the after-effects of a devastating March 11 earthquake and tsunami a number of local musicians are getting together for a two-night benefit at the Exchange.

Tomorrow night, Indigo Joseph, Fur Eel, Descalso and DJ Mitchy the Kid are performing. Doors are at 7 p.m. It’s $10, with the option of getting a two-night pass for $15. Sunday night, doors again are at 7 p.m., and Ink Road, Nancy Ray-Guns, Colby Nargang and Jack Semple are playing. Without the pass, it’s $10.
