A month or so ago, a member of the local country rock band the Lazy MKs (pictured) dropped off two copies of their new CD Where We Bin. I passed them onto the editor, and mentioned them to one of our music writers when he popped into the office the next day. When I went looking a couple of days later for one of the CDs to give it a listen, they were nowhere to be found.
One thing I can tell you though is that while the Lazy MKs have traditionally been instrumental only, for this CD they’ve enlisted some guest vocalist. Country chanteuse Belle Plaine being one. Presumably some of those vocalists will be performing with them at tonight’s show at the Artesian on 13th at 8 p.m.
